Liberal Arts Student Win the 1st Place for News Reading in UM iFest 2022

     Mae Fah Luang University would like to congratulate Ms. Nurshiham Sumalee, a second-year student of English programme, the School of Liberal Arts for being the WINNER of Indonesian News reading in UM iFest 2022. 

     UM iFest was an international programme organised by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonenia during 10 - 30 November 2022 under the theme of “Broaden your vistas, explore your potential”. This programme aimed to promote cultural exchange among the international participants from various countries such as Afghanistan, Cambodia, Pakistan, Timor-Leste and Uzbekistan. 

     The online competition consisted of four categories including Tiktok dance cover, music video, poster and news reading. For the news reading category, participants were required to read news in Bahasa Indonesian language for five minutes and record a ONE-TAKE shot video. Moreover, Ms. Nurshiham Sumalee was the only contestant from Thailand who won the prize in this category. Ms. Nurshiham Sumalee was supervised and trained by Ms. Anna Christi Suwardi, a lecturer of the School of Liberal Arts.
