MFU Hosts "MFU Clubs Fair 2026" to Promote Student Engagement, Enhance Extra-Curricular Learning, and Embrace Diversity

On 22 August 2026, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Student Union, the Student Council, and the Student Development Affairs Division, organised the "MFU Clubs Fair 2026" at the MFU Indoor Stadium. This annual event showcased the achievements, activities and diverse talents of students from more than 30 clubs and the Student Union. 

Designed to support practical learning beyond the classroom, MFU encourages student-led activities that foster essential skills such as creativity, personal growth, adaptability, and cross-cultural understanding. The fair also provided students with the opportunity to register for clubs matching their personal interests. 

MFU student clubs are categorised into five main areas: Religion, Arts and Culture; Social Service; Sports; Student Relations; and Academics.

During the event, club exhibitions were organised into three themed zones:

• Rainforest Zone: ARSA (Community Development Volunteer Club), Kru Doi (Volunteer Teacher Club), Buddhist Club, Wildlife and Forest Conservation Club, Christian Club, Thai-Lanna Music Club, and Thai Dance Club.
• Savannah Zone: Dancing and Acting Club (DAC), Cheerleader Club, the Drum Major Club, Student Welfare Club, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club, Kendo Club, Thai Boxing Club, Badminton Club, Taekwondo Club, Board Games Club, Football Club, Basketball Club, Rugby Club, Volleyball Club, Petanque Club, and Swimming Club.
• Deep Ocean Zone: Drama Club, Master of Ceremony Club, MFU Model United Nations (MFU MUN), MFU Human Rights Club (MFU HRC), and MFU Photo Club, International Student Club as well as central student organisations including the Student Union (SU) and Student Council (SC).

Through dynamic initiatives like the MFU Clubs Fair, the university reaffirms its commitment to shaping well-rounded global citizens. By encouraging vibrant student engagement and promoting holistic well-being—physical, mental, and social—MFU provides an environment where academic growth and extracurricular passion thrive side by side. Empowering students to lead, collaborate, and respect cultural diversity ensures they graduate not only with academic expertise, but as empathetic, resilient leaders prepared to make a positive impact on the world stage.
