Recognizing the economic importance of tea and coffee, Mae Fah Luang University established “the Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Luang University” to become the knowledge and technology transfer center for tea and coffee products.

Responsibilities

• Being the center for scientific studies and research on tea and coffee
• Updating government policy and coordinating with public and private sectors in order to promote a competitive advantage for Thai tea and coffee industry
• Being the center for tea and coffee research coordination and network in both national and international levels
• Disseminating and transferring tea and coffee information 
• Providing tea and coffee quality testing and analysis services
