On 21 October 2017, the special event ‘Cooking with Friends’ was held by the International Students Club in collaboration with the International Affairs Division at the Food Laboratory.
Over 50 Thai and international students joined the cooking workshop for learning how to cook two Thai dishes including Pad Thai and Thai green curry with chicken as well as two famous Thai desserts which were Look Choop (fruit-shaped mung beans) and Bua Loy (rice balls in sweet coconut milk).
As Thai cuisine can indicate the way of life, thoughts and spirits of Thai people, this cooking workshop not only provided opportunity for student to create memorable and happy moment together but also help students learned more Thai food and culture from an amazing hand-on cooking experience.
