On 5 – 8 March 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr.Kowit Nambunmee, Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Programme, the School of Health Science and Head of the Safe City Innovation Research Group cooperated with the Universal Design Center of Architecture Programme, Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University handed over five houses that have been designed and improved according to the Universal Design concept to vulnerable persons in Wat Phra Kaew Community, Chiang Rai province.
This project has been implemented since August 2021 with the purpose to improve the quality of life and create the livable, sustainable and safe environment for Chiang Rai people. The project team brought together government officer, local engineers, architects or builders together to examine the need of people, evaluate physical environment and design a suitable environment that meet the needs of people by considering fall risk and health impacts.
