MFU Staff Joins the 12th International Staff Training Week in Nysa, Poland

     On 16 - 22 May 2022, Ms. Warunee Kaewbunruang, an Administrative Officer of the Global Relations Division participated in the 12th International Staff Training Week on "Crisis Management - Personal, Institutional and Global Aspects" with the ERASMUS + Programme Staff Mobility for Teaching at the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Nysa, Poland.

     This International Staff Training Week was held by the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa with the aims to bring together the academic and administration staff members to share information and best practices on the cooperation within the Erasmus + Programme; to participate in the thematic sessions according to the current programme; to promote an exchange of students and to strengthen the cooperation between staff and students in terms of future projects and programmes.

     Over 40 academic and administrative staff representing 24 universities from 16 countries (including Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kosovo, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Thailand, Turkey, Spain, UK, Ukraine and Poland) participated in a number of trainings and discussion sessions such as “Crisis management in personal life - from a psychologist's point of view”, presented by Ewa Wilk, a psychologist and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy psychotherapist at the Centre for Diagnosis and Psychotherapy in Nysa, Poland; “Reflections and lessons learned after a COVD 19 sanitary crisis from the European Union Perspective” presented by Nuria G. Rabanal, University of León, Spain; and “Crisis Management during Pandemic times at a Higher Education Institution” presented by Dr. Bertha Martínez – Cisneros, CETYS Universidad, Mexico.

     During the training week, Ms. Warunee Kaewbunruang presented Mae Fah Luang University, conducted lectures on Thai Culture and visited one of the primary schools in Nysa – Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 im. Kawalerów Orderu Uśmiechu to learn about educational system in Poland. Moreover, she discussed possibilities of expanding and deepening academic cooperation including student mobility programme, visiting scholars programme and research collaboration between Mae Fah Luang University and participating universities.
