On 1 August 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr.Siam Popluechai, Director of the Scientific and Technological Instruments Center; Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyaporn Chueamchaitrakun, Director of the Tea and Coffee Institute; and Asst. Prof. Dr.Rawiwan Charoensup, the Head of Medical Plants Innovation Center were awarded ‘Safety Management System for Chemical Laboratories’ certifications from Adj. Prof. Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) in the opening ceremony of Thailand Research Expo 2022 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World, Bangkok.
Six laboratories of Scientific and Technological Instruments Center, Tea and Coffee Institute, and Medical Plants Innovation Center have been certified for ‘the safety management system for chemicals laboratories’ according to Thai Industrial Standard 2677-2558 by the Management System Certification Institute (MASCI) and the National Research Council of Thailand.
