On 20 November 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University; Prof. Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University; Asst. Prof. Dr.Phanuphong Chaiwut, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University; and Dr. Nichan Singhaputargun, Acting Head of the Global Relations Division as well as MFU-Model United Nation (MFU-MUN) members warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Culture of Balochistan, Pakistan; and Mir Nouroz Khan, Focal person for Culture and Youth Affairs at the reception room, Vanchai Sirichana Building (AD1), Mae Fah Luang University.
The purposes of this visit were to discuss future collaboration and congratulate Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn on her appointment as the President of Mae Fah Luang University. During the discussion, the two institutions have considered possibilities of conducting a workshop on youth conflict management with the School of Social Innovation, encouraging cultural exchange through handmade products as well as promoting an exchange of student between MFU and educational institutions in Pakistan in the fields of agriculture, information technology, conflict management, accounting and sports. Moreover, MFU has agreed to offer the partial postgraduate scholarships for Pakistani students to study at MFU.
In addition, H.E. Mr. Nawabzada Jamal Raisani extended an invitation to the President and representatives of MFU to attend Quetta Youth Festival to explore possible cooperation between MFU and educational institutions in Pakistan as well as promote MFU to Pakistani parents and students.
H.E. Mr. Nawabzada Jamal Raisani is a graduate from the International Development programme, the School of Social Innovation. Moreover, during his study, he was the President of Mae Fah Luang University Model United Nation (MFU MUN).
