On 17 July 2024, the Global Relations Division hosted “Immigration Visit MFU 2024” at M for U Centre, Mae Fah Luang University. This special lecture focused on immigration rules and regulations for foreign nationals residing in Thailand.
Police Captain Sittichoak Luanprasert, Sub-Inspector of Visa Extension Service, Chiang Rai Immigration, and Police Senior Sergeant Major Stitphorn Ratsathit, Squad Leader of Visa Extension Service, Chiang Rai Immigrationม presented the lecture to promote the better understanding of immigration rules and regulations among staff members.
With over 800 international students and a growing number of volunteers, researchers, distinguished foreign professors, international guests, and representatives on various occasions, MFU recognises the importance of immigration regulations. The university believes that staff from all divisions and schools should have a clear understanding of residence requirements for educational and university-related activities. This knowledge will empower staff to provide smooth and accurate assistance to foreign nationals.
