MFU Applied Digital Technology Students Showcase Research at InCIT2024

On 14 – 15 November 2025, eighteen undergraduate and graduate students from the School of Applied Digital Technology presented their research works at the 8th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT2024). 

The nine research presentations by MFU students included:
•    Business Transformation Framework for Supporting Thai SMEs Viability
•    AI-Driven Design Thinking: A Comparative Study of Human-Created and AI-Generated UI Prototypes for Mobile Applications
•    Particle Weight Redistribution in Particle Filtering to Improve Nonlinear State Estimation
•    Virtual Fire Survival Learning Simulation: A Case Study of School Students in Chiang Rai Province
•    Thai Mango Varieties Web Application: An Evaluation Using the System Usability Scale
•    Data Integration and Data Pipeline Model by Using Knime for Research Data
•    EEG Age Prediction via Elastic Net Linear Regression
•    The Predictive Models for Customer Classification Based on Customer Personality
•    Machine Learning-Driven Classification of Thai Mango Groups Using Clustering and Random Forest

The students were supervised by lecturers from the School of Applied Digital Technology, including Associate Dean Asst. Prof. Dr.Worasak Rueangsirarak, Assoc. Prof. Nattapol Aunsri, Dr.Surapong Uttama, and Dr.Pruet Putjorn.

InCIT2024, organised by Council of IT Deans of Thailand (CITT), took place at the Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University, Thailand and Kanazawa, Japan, provided a platform for sharing research in information and communication technologies. The conference aimed to strengthen collaboration between researchers and offer opportunities for participants to exchange and discuss innovative ideas and research results, paving the way for future cooperative research.
