On 30 October, Thailand’s Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha visited the exhibition of the School of Health Science’s research-grounded herbal products presented at Rajabhat Chiang Rai University. This exhibition was held in association with a meeting of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet on economic and social development for the Upper Northern Province cluster (Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, Nan) at Rajabhat Chiang Rai University.
On this occasion, MFU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanchai Sirichana offered three natural products originating from MFU’s research, including Red Rice: Night Cream & Serum, Herbal Massage Cream, and Greater Plantain Nano Gel to the Prime Minister.
All in all, Mae Fah Luang University has strongly supported research, created added value, and promoted the use of Thai herbs. The products presented in the exhibition are a proof of Mae Fah Luang University’s strong intention to increase the value of Thai herbal products with innovations and increase the income of herbal plant farmers and agriculturists.
