On 31 October 2025, the School of Liberal Arts organised the "HALLOWEEN: Traditions to Remember – Halloween Around the World" event at E1 Building. The event featured a one-minute moment of silence in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s boundless grace, followed by the opening speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Sorabud Rungrojsuwan, Dean of School of Liberal Arts.
This year, the event focused on the learning, creative and respectful exchange of international culture. Halloween is not only an activity for having fun but also a platform for creativity and cultural exchange. The event’s highlights included the storytelling of Halloween, especially its origin and meaning in the Western culture context, memorial ceremonies of various cultures across the world to remember someone who has died, as well as quizzes on foreign cultures.
The event also provided snacks and beverages. This activity added colour and vibrancy to university life and also provided students and faculty members with an important opportunity to broaden their perspectives, practice language skills, enhance communication abilities, and build friendships in an atmosphere of learning and respect for cultural diversity.
