On 2 November 2025, a delegation from Mae Fah Luang University visited Myanmar to participate in the 10th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2025 at Novotel Yangon Max, Yangon. The Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2025 was organised by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT), with support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon. This year’s event brought together 23 higher educational institutions from Thailand an attracted over 600 participants, including parents, teachers and students.
During the fair, MFU representatives provided updated information on admission requirements, tuition fees and scholarships for Myanmar students, as well as programmes offering for international students. There was particular interest from Myanmar students in programmes such as Business Administration, Hospitality Business Management, Software Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
The fair also served as a valuable platform for the MFU delegation to meet with Myanmar alumni who provided valuable insights into the experiences and perspectives of MFU graduates, which helped prospective students and parents better understand the university's facilities and student life. Moreover, the delegation met with H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, to gain insights into the current situation and receive suggestions on effective student recruitment strategies.
Currently, there are more than 1,300 Myanmar students pursuing their education at MFU at all levels. The majority of these students are enrolled in the School of Management, Applied Digital Technology, and Health Science. Therefore, this visit to Myanmar was a crucial opportunity to provide Myanmar students with the most up-to-date admission information and guide them in making appropriate educational choices.
