On 9 November 2025, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) students, led by the Myanmar Students’ Organization, the International Students Club, and the Buddhist Club, collaborated with the Chiang Rai Migrant Workers Assistance Center, to participate in the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Sri Kerd, Chiang Rai.
This wonderful event brought together the Myanmar community in Chiang Rai and students from MFU in a shared spirit of merit-making. Furthermore, in a collaborative effort between MFU students and the Global Relations Division, a "Money Tree" with a value of 4,700 Baht was beautifully presented and donated.
The activity helped promote intercultural understanding, especially as Chiang Rai is a border province rich in ethnic and cultural diversity. It also provided an opportunity for students to build positive relationships with local communities and participate in important Buddhist traditions.
