MFU School of Integrative Medicine Welcomes Exchange Students from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The School of Integrative Medicine at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) hosted an orientation ceremony for exchange students from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM), China, on 4 June 2026, at the Kham Mok Luang Meeting Room, M-Square Building. 

Dr. Sulukkana Noiprasert, Dean of the School of Integrative Medicine, presided over the event and extended a warm welcome to the 39 exchange students majoring in Acupuncture-Moxibustion and Tuina. The delegation was led by two CDUTCM faculty members: Assoc. Prof. Jiasi Wu and Lecturer Jun Zhou. The orientation session included an introduction to the curriculum and study plan, followed by an afternoon campus tour led by the Global Relations Division.

This exchange programme runs from 4 June to 29 August 2026. During this period, the CDUTCM students will enrol in five specialised courses: Medical Terminology in Daily Life, Thai Traditional Pharmacy, Thai Traditional Massage, Medicine and Surgery for Applied Thai Traditional Medicine 1, and Medicine and Surgery for Applied Thai Traditional Medicine 2. Beyond the classroom, the School of Integrative Medicine has paired the inbound students with MFU student buddies to assist with their transition to campus life and to foster cross-cultural friendships. 

In her welcoming remarks, Dr. Sulukkana Noiprasert encouraged the students to take full advantage of all the services and resources the university offers. She advised them to stay informed about campus news, immerse themselves in meaningful pursuits, forge new friendships across various disciplines, and engage closely with their designated MFU buddies. She also encouraged the students to learn and grow professionally alongside MFU student community while discovering their full potential and achieving their dreams.
