On 27 August 2019, the delegates from Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine led by Deputy Director of University Council, Ms. Li Yuanfen paid a visit to Mae Fah Luang University to discuss further academic cooperation with the School of Integrative Medicine.
Mae Fah Luang University and Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine have been implemented a student exchange programme since 2018. This visit aimed at expand academic cooperation between two universities in other areas.
The possible future cooperation will cover of a Double Degree Master’s Programme, joint research for multidisciplinary care (Applied Thai Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Physical Therapy) as well as the exchange of lecturers and graduate students
Altogether, both universities expect that their cooperation will support health professionals training and research contributing to the development of integrative medicine healthcare practices in both countries.
