Stepping further into the internationally matters, a third year student from the Food Science and Technology Programme at the School of Agro-Industry, Mr. Posathon Phatikulrungsun shared his perspective on a caring and sharing ASEAN Community in the national round of the AIMS Speech Contest 2019 at Kasetsart University on 26 August 2019.
This speech contest, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation in collaboration with SEAMEO RIHED and Kasetsart University, was part of 10th Anniversary of ASEAN International Mobility for Students Programme (AIMS) celebration.
Under the theme “Promoting, Caring and Sharing through Mobility”, the contest aimed at engaging students from the AIMS member universities to apply their public speaking skills and express their thoughts on significant global issues. The competition divided into two parts which were a Prepared Speech within five minutes and Impromptu Speech within two minutes.
Completing against seven participants from member universities in Thailland namely Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Mae Fah Luang University, Mahidol University and Thammasat University, student from Thammasat University won and she will represent Thailand for the regional round, which will be held on November with eight AIMS’s members from other countries.
