On 30 September 2019, Mae Fah Luang University Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni warmly welcomed the Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, Dr. Chen-Yuan Tung and delegates from Chinese Association for Relief and Ensuing Service, Thai-Taiwan Business Association and eight Taiwanese universities.
The purpose of this visit was to discuss further academic collaborations for student exchange programmes and summer programmes between MFU and Taiwanese universities. Additionally, representatives of eight universities including Aletheia University, Chinese Culture University, Ching Kuo Institute of Mangement & Health, Kao Yuan University, Kun Shan University, Ming Chuan University, National Taiwan University, Yuanpei University of Medical Technology promoted scholarships for Thai students and presented their universities’ programmes to MFU students.
Therefore, the visit to MFU was a good opportunity to provide MFU students with an up-to-date information about study abroad opportunities in Taiwan.
