To promote talent development in science, the School of Science at MFU and the Science Society of Thailand under the Patronage of His Majesty the King held the 15th Thailand Young Scientist Festival as a part of the 45th Congress on Science and Technology of Thailand (STT45) for over 400 young talents on 3-6 October 2019 at Mae Fah Luang University.
The Thailand Young Scientist Festival, an annual science event brought together elementary, middle, and high school students from across Thailand to share their scientific knowledge and exchange their research findings in an exciting and supportive environment. Amongst the highlights of this event are the science project and innovation presentations, drawing competition, science quiz, problem-solving competition, and science show competition. The winners in the science project and innovation competitions will compete at the international level.
On the whole, all competitions were arranged to instill a passion for science and technology in young students by encouraging them to learn from doing and think logically, analytically and creatively. MFU will continue to foster human resources in science and technology in order to develop science and technology in Thailand and the region.
