On 21-22 February 2020, an international atmosphere was promoted at MFU by an exciting student exchange activity between MFU and Rikkyo University from Japan.
Mae Fah Luang University and IC Net Asia Company Limited jointly held a student exchange activity for 10 MFU students and 10 Rikkyo University students to learn and enhance a better understanding of Japan’s and Thailand’s cultural and economic aspects. The exchange programme provided all students with a special lecture on the Overview of Business and Economics in Chiang Rai Province by Dr. Popkarn Arwatchanakarn, a lecturer of School of Management and the study visit to Mae Sai district to observe and collect data for group discussion on Business Model Contributing Social Issues in Chiang Rai.
Moreover, all students had a chance to actively exchange and share their ideas on cultural differences, career opportunity after graduation, and business establishment through a brainstorming session, business plan presentations and cultural performances.
Altogether, this exchange activity provided a great opportunity for both universities’ students to learn and exchange their cultures and perspectives. It also enhanced their communication and social skills in effectively interacting and making new friends.
