To help new international students enjoy student life experience and smoothly adjust to the new environment, the Global Relations Division organised the International Students Orientation on 8 February 2021. In this second semester of academic year 2020, there are 62 new international students including 36 undergraduates, 20 graduates and 6 exchange students. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, MFU has welcomed 11 new international students from Bhutan, China, France, Myanmar, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and 4 exchange students from Hungary, Austria and Finland who study on campus in Chiang Rai province while others study online.
The orientation provided new international students with important information about MFU’s services, academic resources and its rules and regulations through the presentation from various service divisions at the university such as the Student Development Affairs Division and the Registrar Division.
Over the past 22 years, MFU has welcomed international students from around the globe with an effort to promote internationalization at home and groom all students to be professional graduates and well-rounded personnel in the challenging and highly competitive world.
