The Outstanding Thai Language Teacher Award

     Mae Fah Luang University would like to congratulate Dr.Phatthira Wiphawaphinyo, a lecturer of Thai Language and Culture for Foreigners programme, the School of Liberal Arts who have been selected by the Chiang Rai Provincial Education Office’s committee to receive the Outstanding Thai Language Teacher Award. Dr.Phatthira Wiphawaphinyo will be awarded the honourary pin from Princess Maha Chakri Award from the Teachers’ Council of Thailand.

    This award is an honorary recognition of Thai language teachers whose outstanding work has benefited the society. It is also expected to strengthen teachers' motivation and morale in developing their capacity and quality teaching.  Moreover, the award will motivate teachers to create learning innovation that enhances student learning and provide opportunity for awardees to share and exchange their career experience.

     Dr.Phatthira Wiphawaphinyo has not only taught in Thai Language and Culture for Foreigners programme at MFU but also offered academic service under the Thai teacher development project called “Thai Language, Dhamma Language” for three years. This project is organised for secondary school teachers in Chiang Rai and Phayao province and has expanded into primary school teachers in its third year of operation.
