The 3rd International Conference on Decision Aid Sciences and Applications (DASA'22)

     On 23 – 25 March 2022, the School of Management, the Business Excellence and Logistics Research Centre (BE-Logist) and the Office of Border Economy and Logistics Study (OBELS), Mae Fah Luang University in partnership with College of Business Administration University of Bahrain and NEOMA Business School orgnised the 2022 International Conference on Decision Aid Sciences and Applications (DASA’22) both online and onsite at Pradudeang 1 Room, General Sampao Chusri (E4) Building. 

     This hybrid conference brought together distinguished guest speakers such as Fouad Ben Abdelaziz, Professor at NEOMA Business School, France President of The Tunisian Decision Aid Society (TDAS); Hatem Masri, Professor of Business Analytics and Dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain; José Rui Figueira, Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal President Elect, The International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making; Prasanta Kumar Dey, Professor of Operations and Information Management at Aston Business School, UK; and Davide La Torre, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Quantitative Methods at the PRISM Research Center of SKEMA Business School, France. Also, there were presentations of over 350 papers which will be published on IEEE Xplore.

     DASA was an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of recent developments and applications in the field of Decision Aid Sciences. This Conference aimed to disseminate recent models and techniques related to decision making and decision processes through researchers and practitioners from all over the world. Also, there were workshop for postgraduate students at the early stage of their dissertation research, a variety of parallel sessions as well as practical sessions on developing dissertation proposals, launching academic careers, and a meet-the-editor session. This conference was supported by IEEE Thailand Section, the INFORMS Bahrain International Group, and IEEE Computer Society Thailand Chapter.
