From 13 to 17 June, 2022, Mae Fah Luang University organised the Regional BELC 2022, in cooperation with the French Embassy and France Éducation International at Mae Fah Luang University. The BELC training courses were offered to French language teachers and lecturers focusing on four main objectives: improving instruction, improving training, improving evaluation, and improving classroom management.
This event brought together 80 participants from 9 countries: Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam.
For the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni, Vice-President of Mae Fah Luang University, Mrs. Ève Lubin, Cooperation and Cultural Action Advisor of French Embassy in Thailand and Miss Magosha Fréquelin, Cooperation Attaché for French of French Embassy in Thailand delivered speeches.
During the week, all participants engaged in various workshops and activities. Also, there was a welcoming dinner organised by Mae Fah Luang University on 13 June 2022 for providing the chance for participants to discover LanNa Culture and food.
