MFU and Heinrich Böll Stiftung Southeast Asia Regional Office Co-Organise a Hybrid Panel "Paradigm Shift in International Development towards SDGs and the 2030 New Global Agenda (5Ps - People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership, Peace)”

     On 17 June 2022, the School of Social Innovation (Bangkok Office), Mae Fah Luang University in Collaboration with Heinrich Böll Stiftung Southeast Asia Regional Office held a hybrid panel "Paradigm Shift in International Development towards SDGs and the 2030 New Global Agenda (5Ps - People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership, Peace)” at Mae Fah Luang University - Bangkok Office and via zoom programme. 

     The panel aimed at generating the debate on environmental protection and social justice as well as providing a platform for exchanging knowledge, ideas and experience among the scholars and experts on the SDGs in the Southeast Asia. The panel brought together keynote speakers to share the impact of SDGs agenda on People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership, and Peace including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naruemon Thabchumpon (Chulongkorn University); Dr. Chaya Vaddhanaphuti (Chiang Mai University); Dr. Nuttavikhom Phanthuwongpakdee (Thammasat University); Assoc. Prof. Dr Agus Wahyudi (Gadjah Mada University); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mikio Oishi (Asian University of Women, Bangladesh).  Moreover, Dr.Chalongrat Charoensri, Assistant Dean of the School of Social Innovation delivered the opening remark and Dr. Jaruwan Hatapasu, a lecturer of School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University) was a moderator of the panel.

     Altogether, the panel attracted participants from international organisations and universities both in Thailand and abroad. The School of Social Innovation has always promoted active participation, academic partnership, dialogue and platform for young people to work closely with international organization and multi-stakeholder in international development.
