MFU Opens the Academic Presentation of “Model Teacher” in EEC

     On 24 June 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri, President of Mae Fah Luang University presided over “the Academic Presentation under the Model School Development and Management in Foreign Language Teaching (English-Chinese Language) in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in Secondary School Level throughout Networking Schools to foster Internationalized Education Management” at Amari Pattaya Hotel, Chonburi.

     This event was held to provide a platform for 30 Model Teachers to present their effective lesson plans which will greatly benefit teachers, students and schools. All lesson plans were developed by applying their knowledge and teaching methods acquired throughout the project. 

     In the event, there were keynote guests and participants including Dr.Petch Chinabutr, Deputy Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC), executive members of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chonburi Rayong, School Directors, teachers, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorabud Rungrojsuwan, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Dr. Therrapab Preedepoj, Dean of the School of Sinology together with lecturers from both Schools.

     Moreover, there were a closing ceremony of the project of Model School Development and Management in Foreign Language Teaching (Phrase 1) and an award presentation ceremony to recognise three outstanding teachers of English and Chinese language. The awards will motivate them to continue developing themselves and becoming a main part in human resource development in the education sector.

     The project of Model School Development and Management in Foreign Language Teaching has been jointly implemented by the Center of Academic Services, Mae Fah Luang University and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Development Fund with an aim to drive human resource development in terms of education and support the demand of educational personnel in the EEC area. Under this project, the ‘Model Teacher’ for the teaching of English and Chinese Language has initiated. The working group of the project consists of the Center of Academic Services, the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Sinology and education experts.
