MFU President Joins Platinum Award Talk in the Press Conference of “Thailand Research Expo 2022”

     On 20 July 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri, President of Mae Fah Luang University attended the press conference of “Thailand Research Expo 2022” which will be held under the theme of “Research for developing Thailand towards security, prosperity and sustainability” by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) on 1 – 5 August 2022 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World, Bangkok.

     During the press conference, there were “Thailand Research Expo Talk” presented by Emeritus Prof. Soottiporn Chittmittrapap, M.D., Chairman of Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI); Prof. Wachira Kochakarn, M.D., Chairman of Research University Network (RUN); Asst. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-art, President of Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Presidents; Asst. Prof. Dr.Linda Gainma, President of Council of Rajabhat University Presidents; and Nopporn Cheanklin, M.D., Executive Director of the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) as well as  “Platinum Award Talk” presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri, President of Mae Fah Luang University and Asst. Prof. Wanchai Sutananta, Acting President of Silpakorn University who were awarded Platinum Awards in the 16th Thailand Research Expo 2021.

    The Thailand Research Expo 2022 will consist of exhibition, meetings/seminars on over 150 topics, higher education innovation competition and award presentations. Over 700 research papers in five main topics: 1 Research and Innovation for Developing Value-driven Economy and Creative Economy; 2. Research and Innovation for Sustainably Improving Society and Environment; 3. COVID-19 Research and Innovation; 4. Research and Innovation for New Engine of Growth; and 5. Research and Innovation for Area-based Development.
