MFU Young University Leaders Programme 2 (MFU-YUL 2)

     On 4 October 2022, Mae Fah Luang University led by the Global Relations Division and the Personnel Division organised the opening ceremony of “MFU Young University Leaders Programme 2” at the Heritage Chiang Rai Hotel and Convention. The programme has brought together 61 young executive members from 15 Schools and MFU Medical Center Hospital to learn and work together through four main activities: lectures, workshops, study visit and group work presentation which will be held from October 2022 – March 2023. 

     This programme, initiated in 2020, has been designed to prepare the next generation of MFU executives for leadership roles by helping them develop knowledge and skills in organizational digital transformation, management, leadership, human resources development and specific topics covering three clusters: Science and Technology; Health Science; and Humanities and Social Sciences. It also aims to enhancing the networks between participants from different Schools. 

     In the opening ceremony, there were a report presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Nantana Gajaseni, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University; an opening remark delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattasiri, President of Mae Fah Luang Unievrsity, followed by the workshop on ‘Building team for the new normal’ by Dr.Petch Chinabutr, Deputy Secretary General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC) and Advisor to the President of Mae Fah Luang University.  Moreover, there were presentations by representatives of the first batch of MFU Young University Leaders Programme (MFU YUL 1) and icebreaker activities for participants to get to know each other.

     During the interactive workshops and group works, participants will have an abundance of opportunities to exchange their perspectives and work together towards new projects or strategies to develop practical solutions that are suitable for promoting an efficient university administration and improving academic management.
