MFU’s Digital Development Project Granted Funding from the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission

     On 27 October 2022, the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society announced the awarded projects of the Digital Economy and Society Development Fund (DE Fund) in fiscal 2022 at Centra by Centara Hotel, Bangkok.

     Mae Fah Luang University’s project on “Logistics Manpower Development Using Mixed Reality Simulation for Supporting Chiang Khong Intermodal Facilities and Connecting the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS)” has been selected to be one of nine digital development projects funded under the Digital Manpower policy that promotes and supports the use of digital technology in lifelong education. And, Asst. Prof. Dr.Roungsan Chaisricharoen, lecturer of the School of Information Technology represented MFU to join this press conference.

     There are 41 project proposals or activities from government agencies, state enterprises, and educational institutions selected for funding. Mr. Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, Digital Economy and Society Minister stated that the Digital Economy and Society Development Fund is vital to accelerate the country's digital transformation by utilizing digital technologies to create innovations and new initiatives in various aspects such as education, public health, agriculture, finance and investment, government’s services and human resource development.
