On 7 March 2018, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayaporn Wattanasiri and Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support, the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Pranom Cometieng signed an agreement for information technology development between the Department of Health Service Support and the School of Information Technology.
Signing an agreement of collaboration in the field of Information Technology, the Department of Health Service Support and MFU highly focused in designing and developing software, hardware and electronic media for supporting the activities and operations of the Department of Health Service Support. Moreover, two institutes aimed to enhance information technology knowledge and skills for their staff and to develop research, programmes, teaching materials, co-operative education together.
Altogether, this agreement provides a channel for MFU students and staff to think creatively and put their ideas into practice as well as enhance their skills and potential in information technology development and application for organisations and industries.
