On 2 March 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri, President of Mae Fah Luang University and Prof. Dr.Roger C.Y. Chen, President of I-Shou University, the Republic of China (Taiwan) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an agreement for student exchange between the two universities.
There were guests of honour attending the signing ceremony at I-Shou University including Assoc. Prof. Dr.Wandee Rungseevijitprapa, Dean of the School of Cosmetic Science; Asst. Prof. Dr.Chutamat Niwat, Assistant to the President; Dr.Mayuramas Wilai, Assistant Dean of the School of Cosmetic Science; Prof. Dr.Julia Lin, Senior Vice President & Provost, Department of International Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr.Anna Warangkana Lin, Senior Consultant, Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs; and ISU executives.
The MoU between Mae Fah Luang University and I-Shou University is expected to enhance quality and academic excellence through exchanging staff and students, conducting research and co-organising international academic activities, etc. After the ceremony, the delegates of Mae Fah Luang University and I-Shou University discussed details of student exchange programme, teaching and learning as well as collaborative activities. Then, MFU executives visited hospital and ISU facilities such as Global Mobility Center, Intelligent Medical Teaching Center, E-Da Hospital and International School.
