Online Academic Activities for Strengthening Cooperation under the North-South University Network (NSU Net)

     Mae Fah Laung University and Prince of Songkla University deepened academic cooperation under the North-South University Network (NSU Net) through the invitation to attend online lessons. 

     On 28 March 2023, Dr.Atima Kaewsa-ard, Assistant to the President and Acting Director of Learning Innovation Institute, MFU and the Global Relations Division’s staff members attended the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Lesson 101: How to conduct COIL via online platform. The activity, held by Prince of Songkla University, invited special speakers: Dr. Alyssa Van Dreumel, International Program Coordinator and Lecturer, School of Molecular Science, the University of Western Australia; and Dr. Mary Lynn De Silva, Learning Designer, Educational Enhancement Unit, the University of Western Australia.

     Moreover, on 5 April 2023, Mae Fah Luang University invited NSU-Net students and lecturers to join the virtual special talk on "Innovation s and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism" hosted by the School of Management under the MFU Visiting Scholars Programme. This virtual talk was presented by Prof. Kaye Chon, Ph.D., Dean and Chair Professor from Walter & Wendy Kwok Family Foundation Professor in International Hospitality Management, School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  

     Altogether, these activities indicated the active efforts of Mae Fah Laung University and Prince of Songkla University as the main coordinators of the North-South University Network (NSU Net) in promoting the academic cooperation between the member universities.
