MFU Joins The Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2023

     On 20 – 22 May 2023, delegates from Mae Fah Luang University led by Ms. Wannapha Thippayasak, Acting Head of the Global Relations Division visited Myanmar to participate in the Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2023 at Novotel Yangon Max, Yangon. 

     The Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2023 organised by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) brought together 18 schools and universities in Thailand including Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Assumption University, Bangkok University, Bromsgrove International School, College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU), Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), Dusit Thani College, Khon Kaen University International College, Mae Fah Luang University, Mahanakorn University of Technology International College (MUTIC), Mahidol University International College, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), Prince of Songkla University (PSU) Phuket Campus, Ramkhamhaeng Advent International School, Silpakorn University International College, Thammasat University, and University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) to showcase their study programmes and facilities.  This year, over 1000 registered visitors including international students, private/public institutions and parents attended the event.

     Over 200 participants including parents, teachers and students were interested in Mae Fah Luang University and requested a relevant and updated information on admission requirements, tuition fees, programmes offering for international students, as well as scholarships for Myanmar students. Particularly, most Myanmar students were interested in Business Administration, Nursing and Engineering.

     In this academic year 2022, there are 503 Myanmar students pursuing their education at MFU which include 12 doctoral degree students, 16 master’s degree students and 445 bachelor’s degree students. In addition, MFU has welcomed 138 Myanmar alumni within 2002-2015 academic year. Therefore, the visit to Myanmar was a good opportunity to provide Myanmar students with an up-to-date information about MFU’s admission and help them find the appropriate choice for their education as well.
