On 1 – 3 November 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyaporn Chueamchaitrakun, Head of Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Luang University was invited by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (TRI CAAS) to attend and give a lecture on "The BCG Economy Implementation for Tea Research in Thailand" in the 5th Global Forum for Directors of Tea Research Institutes in the People's Republic of China.
The forum, hosted by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (TRICAAS) and China Tea Science Society (CTSS), brought together more than 200 participants from 11 countries and 15 tea research institutes in China to share current state and research advancement of tea industry in each country. Also, participants had a chance to explore the possibilities of a fruitful partnership related to tea.
This participation is one of academic activities under the MoU between Tea and Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Luang University and Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
