On 30 November 2023, Mae Fah Luang University executives led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University warmly welcomed the delegation of Women Ambassadors in Thailand.
The honourable delegates included H. E. Mrs. Ana Maria Prieto Abad, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to Thailand; H.E. Ms. Itzel Karina Chen Chan, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Thailand; H.E. Mrs. Sibille de Cartier d'Yves, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Thailand; H.E. Mrs. Millicent Cruz Paredes, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand; H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Thailand; and H.E. Mrs. Shirley Dennise Aguilar Barrera, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Thailand.
During the visit, all delegates explored the university’s facilities and learned about the project of UNESCO-Chiang Rai Creative Cities Network (UCCN) presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pollavat Prapattong, Head of the Mekong Basin Civilization Museum and lecturer from the School of Liberal Arts. Altogether, this visit served as the invaluable opportunity for the Ambassadors and MFU executives to exchange ideas and discuss possibilities for future collaboration.
