On 10 – 12 January 2024, MFU Learning Resources and Educational Media Centre (Library) in collaboration with the Provincial University Library Network (PULINET) organised the 14th PULINET National Conference (PULINET 2024) under a theme of “Better Libraries: Honor Yesterday, Celebrate Today, Embrace Tomorrow” at E4 building, Mae Fah Luang University.
This national conference aimed at providing opportunities for more than 300 librarians, information specialists, personnels of university libraries, lecturers, researchers, and students of the Library and Information Science programme to present their works and research, exchange knowledge and experience, develop professional knowledge as well as apply knowledge to improve libraries’ information service systems.
The conference consisted of special lectures by various invited speakers from Thailand and abroad, awards presentation ceremony, as well as over 100 poster and oral presentations in three main topics covering Information Services (IS), Information Management (IM), Organisational Management (OM).
This year, staff members of Mae Fah Luang University won two awards as follows:
1. Excellent Award for oral presentation in the Information Management category: “Developing online courses with gamification” by Miss Suntaree Peerapanit, Miss Wipada Duangkid, Miss Nachayada Tamroo, and Miss Sangduan Kammeesawang from MFU Learning Resources and Educational Media Centre
2. Good Award for oral presentation in the Organization Management category: “MFU Smart ISO” by Mr. Rakphao Theppan from Information Management Unit and Miss Saovanee Kunta from MFU Learning Resources and Educational Media Centre
Moreover, the next PULINET National Conference (PULINET 2025) will be hosted by Mahasarakham University.
