On 27 January 2024, the Global Relations Division organised the Chiang Rai Discovery, an exciting one-day trip, to bring over 60 new international students including full-time and exchange students to visit the historic and fascinating landmarks in Chiang Rai province such as Choui Fong Tea Plantation, Doi Tung Development Project, Wat Pa Sak Historical Site, Wat Phra That Pha Ngao & Skywalk, and the Golden Triangle.
This trip aimed to provide a comprehensive cultural experience for international students. During the trip, there were Thai and international volunteering tour guides from the International Students Club who provided informative insights for new international students. Altogether, all students had a chance to not only get to know new friends from different Schools but also immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery and the rich history, art and culture of Chiang Rai province.
