Mae Fah Luang University, led by the School of Nursing and the Center for Academic Services, organised the Nursing and Health in Thailand Training for Deakin Students 2024 from 22 to 29 June 2024 at Mae Fah Luang University.
The delegation from Deakin University, Australia included Professor Dr. Ana Hutchinson, Associate Head of School, Research; Ms. Chantelle Dowling, Unit Chair - Academic Study Tour Leader Colleagues; and 12 bachelor’s degree students from the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
This training aims to provide Deakin students with an opportunity to learn more about Thailand’s nursing and healthcare system at MFU Medical Center Hospital, MFU Hospital, and hospitals in Chiang Rai province. The students are expected to be able to compare the differences and similarities between Thailand’s and Australia’s nursing and therapeutic care. Moreover, students will have a chance to exchange ideas and delve into Thai cultures with Thai buddies through various activities and excursions.
