On 11 August 2024, the Global Relations Division held the special event ‘Thai Cooking Workshop’ at the S4 Laboratory Room. Over 60 Thai and international students participated in the workshop to learn how to cook ‘Thai green papaya salad (Som Yum)’ and a dessert ‘Steamed flower-shaped dumplings (Chor Muang)’.
As Thai cuisine can reflect the way of life, thoughts and spirits of Thai people, this workshop allowed international students to gain a deeper understanding of Thai culture and its unique flavors through the shared experience of creating delicious Thai dishes.
