On 14 – 16 August 2024, Mae Fah Luang University, led by the Scientific and Technological Instruments Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, government, and private sectors, organised the National Science Week 2024. Held under a theme “Science for Life, Environment, and BGC Society” and “Learn-Play-Work-Career with Science and Technology”, the event took place at Mae Fah Luang University. Over 11,000 participants, including students and teachers from local schools in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Phayao provinces attended.
The National Science Week is an annual nationwide event aimed at promoting science and encouraging interest in scientific pursuits among the general public and young people. The event featured various activities, including science projects, competitions, exhibitions, VR activities, seminars, and talks in diverse fields such as cosmetic sciences, agro-industry, science, health science, dentistry, physical therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, mycology, tea and coffee, information technology, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants had an opportunity to not only learn more about science and technology but also show their talents, which will contribute to inspiring them as significant manpower of future to pursue their studies in the field of science and technology and create new innovations.
