Road to Global Exchange 2024: Exploring Study Abroad Opportunities

On 21 August 2024, the Global Relations Division hosted the Road to Global Exchange 2024 event at M for U Centre, Mae Fah Luang University. This event provided students and staff members with valuable information about study aboard opportunities for Thai citizens. 

The event featured a series of engaging presentations from alumni who had received various scholarships including:

• The UK government's global scholarships programme “Chevening” presented by Ajarn Nada Chaiyajit from the School of Law
• The Japanese government scholarship “Monbukagakusho (MEXT)” presented by Dr. Jaruwan Hatapasu from the School of Social Innovation
• The Chinese government scholarship “China Scholarship Council (CSC)” presented by Dr.Apirak Nusitchaiyakarn from the School of Sinology

In addition to learning about specific scholarship programmes, participants received valuable tips and techniques for increasing their chances of securing a scholarship. 

Mae Fah Luang University encourages students and staff members to pursue study abroad opportunities to broaden their horizons, gain cross-cultural perspectives, and develop a global mindset. By doing so, they can prepare themselves to become responsible global citizens in the future.
