MFU Organises MFU Internship & Job Fair 2024, Bringing Employers to Meet Students

On 31 August 2024, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Placement and Co-operative Education Division, organised the MFU Internship & Job Fair 2024 at the Queen Sirikit 72nd Jubilee Sport Arena (Indoor Stadium). 

Recognising the importance of preparing students for the world of work, the event aimed to provide an opportunity for MFU students who are about to graduate or are looking for jobs, as well as students preparing for internships, to meet with employers, gain information on various aspects about companies, and apply for positions directly to enterprises.

 Asst. Prof. Dr.Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, presided over the opening ceremony. Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Darunee Wattanasiriwech, Vice President, Mrs. Kittima Santi, Head of Placement and Co-operative Education Division, along with faculty members and students, attended the event. Representatives from over 60 organisations across Thailand participated, setting up booths to recruit interns and conduct on-site job interviews.

The event also included the presentation of outstanding Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) at the Upper Northern Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Education Network level 2024, as well as the outstanding Cooperative Education and Professional Experience awards 2024. The award presentations were followed by a special lecture on "Digital Sustainability in the Future" by Dr.Pruet Putjorn, a lecturer from the School of Information Technology. Additionally, there was a special panel discussion on "Sustainable Career" featuring HR Managers from renowned companies, providing students with suggestions, guidelines, and preparation for internships and job applications in the current era.

President of MFU stated in the opening ceremony that Mae Fah Luang University is committed to producing graduates with knowledge and future skills to be manpower ready for change and meeting the demands of the future labour market. Through collaborations with both public and private organisations, both domestically and internationally, MFU aims to create job opportunities and promote the government's policy on Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE).
