On 8 November 2024, Mae Fah Luang University executives led by Prof. Dr.Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President warmly welcomed a delegation from the Taiwan-Thailand Overseas Research and Technology Innovation Center (TTSTC) of National Cheng Kung University. The TTSTC delegation led by Professor Fong-Chin Su, Executive Director and former Deputy Minister of Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
The purpose of this visit was to discuss potential academic collaborations in science and innovative technology between Thailand and Taiwan. The cooperation could include joint research in semiconductors, exchange of researchers and faculty, seminars, training courses, conferences, and student exchange programmes. The discussion also explored the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two universities, particularly between MFU’s School of Science and Applied Digital Technology and TTSTC.
In addition, the TTSTC delegation visited MFU Learning Innovation Institute to exchange knowledge and best practices in teaching and learning approaches, education technology, and related research. The exchange also explored potential collaboration in curriculum development, training courses and joint research projects to advance the quality of education and learning innovation at both universities.
