On 17 December 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr.Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Darunee Wattanasiriwech, Vice President, participated in the celebration of the 117th National Day of the Kingdom of Bhutan held by the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok at the Chatrium Grand Ballroom.
The reception, hosted by H.E. Mr. Kinzang Dorji, Ambassador of Bhutan to Thailand, and Mrs. Sonam Choden, was attended by over 500 guests, including members of the Thai Privy Council, representatives from the diplomatic community, ministries, and the private sectors, as well as Bhutanese nationals working in Thailand.
Mae Fah Luang University deeply values the close friendship and continuous cooperation with the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok and the Kingdom of Bhutan in advancing human resources, promoting well-being, and building a peaceful and sustainable future for the peoples of our two countries and the region. The university was greatly honoured to join the people of Bhutan to celebrate this special occasion.
