On 15 December 2024, Mr. Kenshin Mizushima, a master’s degree student in Applied Sports Science and Technology from the School of Health Science, participated in the VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2024 in Taupō, New Zealand. With an incredible overall finish time of 4:16:03, Mr. Kenshin Mizushima achieved 1st place in Asia and 18th place in the Male 18-24 age group category. This marks his second consecutive year wining first place in Asia in the IRONMAN 70.3.
Approximately 6,000 athletes from 119 different countries, regions, and territories, ranging in age from 18-85, competed at the event.
