Ms. Panthip Thornsathitkul, Head of the Advanced Analytical and Testing Instruments Section at the Scientific and Technological Instruments Centre (STIC), has won the First Prize in the Good Practice category at the 4th Laboratory System Development Network Academic Conference. Her outstanding work is titled “Integration of Documentation and Administrative Systems for Enhancing Laboratory Standards to Align with National and International Requirements”
The conference, organised by the Council of University Administrative Staff of Thailand (CUAST) was held under the theme “Organizational Culture and Laboratory Standardization” on 26–27 May 2025 at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.
This award-winning project plays a vital role in strengthening laboratory quality management systems at the institutional level. It presents a comprehensive model that integrates documentation systems, risk management, resource administration, and active staff engagement to meet both national and international standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and biosafety protocols. The project fosters a robust organizational culture of quality and serves as a practical model for other university laboratories.
This success reflects the collaborative efforts of the STIC team, who have continuously improved laboratory operations and quality assurance systems. It demonstrates Mae Fah Luang University’s leadership in advancing scientific and technological standards nationally and regionally.
