On 8 – 9 July 2025, Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center Hospital in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand, the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Thailand, and the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons of Thailandม co-hosted the “Pre-Congress Beyond the Frontiers: Supermicrosurgery and Ultrasonography in Lymphatic Surgery” at Prachuap Bhirombhakdi Meeting Room, Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center Hospital.
This event was a pre-congress session for the 50th Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand. It highlighted critical topics in the fields, including precision medicine in super microsurgery and lymphedema treatment, ultrasonography, and addressing challenges and new frontiers in lymphedema.
Assoc. Prof. Dr.Darunee Wattanasiriwech, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, presided over the opening ceremony. In her remarks, she emphasised the conference’s objective: to foster academic collaboration and innovation in lymphatic surgical practices with a special focus on advanced supermicrosurgery techniques and the application of ultrasound in surgical procedures, aiming to enhance both efficiency and long-term patient safety. She also extended her gratitude to all participants for their commitment to advancing medical knowledge toward international standards.
The conference featured esteemed speakers from both Thailand and abroad, who shared invaluable expertise and conducted live surgery demonstrations, offering an exceptional learning opportunity for medical professionals across the ASEAN region.
