Additionally, the Chiang Rai Brewtopia (Green Season) exhibition, part of the Global Coffee and Tea Association Forum 2025, was officially launched by Mr. Ruttisak Rangsri, Vice Governor of Chiang Rai Province, at the Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Park. Dr. Piyaporn, Head of the Tea and Coffee Institute, reiterated the event’s goal to promote Chiang Rai as a key tea and coffee destination, renowned for production, processing, and distribution. The vision is for Chiang Rai to become the national and ASEAN epicenter for tea and coffee commerce and innovation. The event also featured a "Farm Visit: A Cup to Village" activity showcasing local plantations and production processes as well as hands-on tea and coffee workshops for farmers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts.
This event underscores Chiang Rai's potential as a regional hub for tea and coffee. With its ideal climate, agricultural expertise, and institutional support, the region is well-positioned to attract global stakeholders. The event promotes a sustainable future for the industry and strengthens Chiang Rai’s global standing as a key player in the tea and coffee sector.
