On 26 February 2019, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayaporn Wattanasiri and Director of Global Training Team, Mr. Dong-hwa Shin signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between Mae Fah Luang University and Incheon International Airport, the Republic of Korea at Mae Fah Luang University.
Realising the importance of human resources development for the aviation industry, MFU first offered an aviation programme 10 years ago. Today, this programme offers three study tracks: Aviation Services, International Aviation Logistics Business, and Aviation Operations.
With this agreement, Mae Fah Luang University and Incheon International Airport aim to strengthen their relations as well as fruitful collaborations in developing MFU students’ aviation professional skills. MFU students are able to observe the operations and practices in real working situations by participating in an internship programme at Incheon Airport.
All in all, this agreement will be a starting point for committing the two institutions to work together more closely towards producing graduates who possess knowledge, capability, and skills in aviation business management to fulfill the needs in every segment of the aviation industry.
