The 6th Change the World Speech Contest 2019

Mae Fah Luang University would like to congratulate Ms. Jintra Saechang, a fourth year student from the School of Information Technology who won the first prize in the 6th Change the World Speech Contest 2019 at North Bangkok University, Pathum Thani province on 17 August 2019.

Ms. Jintra Saechang, wining the prize in Chinese categories at the university level, was awarded a trophy together with 30,000 bath Scholarship and the Scholarship for 14-day cultural exchange in China.

The contest under the concept “Change the World” aimes at supporting students in Primary 3 to university levels to realize an importance of the accurate use of language (Thai, English, Chinese) in making speeches as well as the possession of moral virtues. Students were trained in communication skills to be speakers who could respond to the constant change and be able to inspire others to “Change the World” for a better.

The contest is supported by the International Buddhist Society Club under the patronage of Somdejphramaharajmangalajarn (IBS); the 60th Dhammachai Education Foundation of Australia and New Zealand; Chompol Speech School and Diplomatic Speaking Institute Foundation; Bangkok Toastmasters Club and the Chinese Language Teachers' Association of Thailand.
